Norfolk, VirginiaThe USA Patriots, formerly known as the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team continues their season on the road with a full schedule for June. The team heads to Fargo, North Dakota June 13  – June 17 and will then travel to Long Island New York on June 20- June 23 for their 7th Annual Tournament with a packed weekend of festivities. The team will head back to Bismark, North Dakota June 27th for “The McQuade”, which has become the largest softball tournament in the world. In July the team will have a short break before traveling on to Ohio followed by Virginia Beach for the Kids Camp.

The USA Patriots Amputee Softball Team players travel in from all over the United States, while staying focused, continuing to inspire and support Veteran causes, and to help change the lives of families, especially for their Kids Camp families. The location for Kids Camp this year will be Virginia Beach, Virginia hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University, at 5817 Wesleyan Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23455.  The weeklong camp is set to begin Monday July 29th ,with Kids Camp Game set for Saturday August 3rd at TowneBank Park, home of the two-time Division III National Champions on the Virginia Wesleyan Campus. Alumni Kids Camp will begin Thursday August 1st. During this weeklong event, the USA Patriots will teach kids, who have been living with congenital limb loss or have suffered amputation from illness or injury, the basic fundamentals of playing ball sports. The USA Patriots team members lend a first-hand experience demonstrating the correct way to maneuver basic fundamentals of running bases, batting, pitching and catching while overcoming obstacles, and adapting to everyday challenges. Bonding with and mentoring these campers on and off the field and showing them Life Without Limbs Is Limitless® truly depicts what this team is all about.”
